Is it Worth the Buy? Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Happy Sunday, friends! Hope you all had a great Black Friday weekend! Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on one of Too Faced’s most popular products.

The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a medium/deep toned matte bronzer with their famous sweet chocolate scent. I got a deluxe size of this when I bought a little trial set with 5 of their best selling products. You all know that Benefit’s Hoola bronzer is my all time favourite so this one had a lot to compete with. I think the overall tone is nice but for my skin tone it borders on being too warm so you have to be careful when applying it.

I find that it looks really nice blended around the temples, cheeks and jawline to wake up your complexion and you can get get away with a really soft and subtle contour if you’re careful to not apply too much. My one complaint is that I find it tough to blend and since it’s such a deep tone that can be a serious issue. Building it up slowly with a fluffy powder brush seems to be the best way to deal with that.

Overall I think it’s a really nice matte bronzer with a fairly good tone. I think it works well in the summer time for those of us with fair skin and could work all year on deeper skin tones. Let me know your thoughts on the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer if you’ve tried it. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great Sunday.

Favourite Neutral Lip Products

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve all been doing great! A good neutral lipstick is so important to have because it’s the easiest thing to fall back on when you don’t know what to wear. Today I thought I’d mention two of my favourites that I’ve been reaching for a ton lately.

Left: Rimmel Airy Fairy Right: Mac Whirl

First off is a lipstick from Rimmel. This is actually the first Rimmel liptstick that I’ve tried and I am super impressed with it. It’s called Airy Fairy and it is a really gorgeous and creamy pinky nude colour. You can still tell you’re wearing lipstick but it is such a natural and versatile shade and would look really great with so many different skin tones.

Mac Whirl

The second one I’ve been loving is actually a lip liner from Mac in Whirl. This is a browny nude colour with very cool undertones to it. It’s totally different from anything else that I have which makes it kind of an interesting choice. It’s very matte which makes your lips look much fuller and it’s easy to over line your lips if you’re going for that Kylie Jenner look. It’s a little on the pricey side so if you don’t want to splurge on it then you can totally find dupes at the drugstore.

What are your favourite neutral lip products? Thanks so much for coming by and I hope you’re having a great day!
