Is it Worth the Buy? Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer

Happy Sunday, friends! Hope you all had a great Black Friday weekend! Today I wanted to share with you my thoughts on one of Too Faced’s most popular products.

The Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is a medium/deep toned matte bronzer with their famous sweet chocolate scent. I got a deluxe size of this when I bought a little trial set with 5 of their best selling products. You all know that Benefit’s Hoola bronzer is my all time favourite so this one had a lot to compete with. I think the overall tone is nice but for my skin tone it borders on being too warm so you have to be careful when applying it.

I find that it looks really nice blended around the temples, cheeks and jawline to wake up your complexion and you can get get away with a really soft and subtle contour if you’re careful to not apply too much. My one complaint is that I find it tough to blend and since it’s such a deep tone that can be a serious issue. Building it up slowly with a fluffy powder brush seems to be the best way to deal with that.

Overall I think it’s a really nice matte bronzer with a fairly good tone. I think it works well in the summer time for those of us with fair skin and could work all year on deeper skin tones. Let me know your thoughts on the Chocolate Soleil Bronzer if you’ve tried it. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great Sunday.

USA Haul Pt. 1

Hello friends! How have you all been? I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything! But I’m coming back at it to share all of the goodies that I got while in Burlington for a little vacay. I’ve decided it might be easier to split the haul up so today I’ll be sharing the random little things that I got and Thursday will be the¬†beauty things. I’ll have links for everything mentioned at the end!

Target is one of my favourite places on earth and my sister and I spent about an hour there since we don’t have it in Canada. I’ve heard great things from other bloggers about their clothes and I found this really cute black and white plaid shirt by Mossimo. It’s super loose fitting but I think that it would look really cute in the fall with a bold lip and cute booties.

I also came across this super cute water bottle by Contigo. It’s super well made and is meant to hold things like iced coffee, smoothies and infused waters so you know that it’s not gonna leak.

The last couple of things for this part of the haul are stationary items. I love all things stationary and am going to do a full back to school haul in a few weeks, but I didn’t want to leave these out. I found these super cute medium sized binder clips by Ubrand, you get ten and they’re all different black and white patterns. Then I picked up some Scotch washi tape for decorating my dorm room in September. (Let me know if you want more detail on dorm decor on a budget!)

So that’s it for this kind of random haul! I am super excited to share part two with you all on Thursday! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! ūüôā
